EPIC launch
APESMA will launch its innovative employee contract builder next Thursday.
The association will present the Employee Pharmacist Individual Contract (EPIC) to pharmacists at a seminar in Melbourne, the first of a number of seminars that will launch the tool to pharmacists across Australia.
Stage two will be a launch in a Victorian regional centre, followed by launches in the other states in the near future.
EPIC is an online tool which enables pharmacists to draw up their own contracts to be used as part of contractual negotiations between employees and employers. It allows pharmacists to build in conditions to their contracts that aren't covered by the award, such as community service; jury duty; regular reviews of remuneration; and continuing professional development.
