A two-day e-health summit held later this month in Melbourne Convention Centre will be a key event in setting the health agenda for this term of the Gillard Government.
The Guild has been invited to this invitation only event. As Minister for Health and Ageing Nicola Roxon stated, “It is an important opportunity for stakeholders to discuss how electronic health and telehealth will drive the delivery of health care into the future”.
Broadband Minister Stephen Conroy and Minister Roxon will speak at the E-Health: Revolutionising Australia's Healthcare conference, to be held on 30 November and 1 December. The event is being organised by the Federal Health Department.
