We all know that social media is now an, ever-present part of our lives. However there is concern over certain aspects of this mostly benign social outlet.
One area that causes concern is exemplified by sites such as My Lecturer, launched last year, where students can rate their lecturers.
Students are asked to name their lecturers, give them marks out of 10, rate the difficulty of the assignments they set, and rate the subject overall. They are also invited to write a short comment about their subject or lecturer, and asked whether they would recommend their course, or not.
