Discount Drug Stores embrace online shopping

Pharmacy4U and Discount Drug Stores have joined forces to enable customers to shop online at an additional 100 pharmacies.
The partnership will allow customers to order online and collect their purchases at the pharmacy of their choice or sent by courier or post.
Last month, Pharmacy4U’s online operating system was rolled out nationally to all Discount Drug Stores.
John Bronger, Pharmacy4U director, said the joint venture recognised the “capabilities and benefits” offered by the technology company. 
“Each individual Discount Drug Store pharmacy can have its own individual website supported by the franchise support office and Pharmacy4U’s group-management systems.”
Brendan O’Loughlin, Pharmacy4U chairman, said they wanted to ensure customers of local pharmacies received high quality health information.
