Kardachi chairmanship to bring solidarity to Forum

Grant Kardachi, PSA national president, is the new chair of the Australian Pharmacy Liaison Forum (APLF),a move that members hope will bring “solidarity” to the profession.
Mr Kardachi was elected to replace Professor Nick Shaw, from the Council of Pharmacy Schools: Australia and New Zealand, at Monday’s APLF meeting in Canberra.
Trent Twomey, Australian College of Pharmacy president, told Pharmacy News that John Chapman, College CEO, had nominated Mr Kardachi for the role.
“The PSA hasn’t had the opportunity to be a chair of the Forum as yet and we thought it would send a good message of solidarity for us to make the nomination,” he said.
