New business conference

Pharmacists seeking information on how to keep their businesses successful and viable in challenging times will be the beneficiaries  of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s new business conference.
Entitled the Pharmacy Business Network, the inaugural event will be held in Canberra, from 13 to 16 September.
It will focus on effective business planning, more efficient purchasing, mastering new software solutions and better staff management, among other topics.
The event replaces the Women and Young Pharmacists’ Congress. In its release, the Guild says the event will continue the legacy of late Tasmanian pharmacy leader, Judy Liauw, in playing a key role in the development of pharmacy owners and leaders of the future.
