Pharmacies help with HIV treatment access

Under a new NSW state Government scheme, patients with HIV can now collect their medicines from participating community pharmacies rather than having to visit hospital pharmacies.
As reported on www.starobserver.com.au, patients with HIV will be able to collect their medications from community pharmacies or have them delivered to their home or workplace. 
The first pharmacies to take part in the Enhanced Medication Access Scheme include Serafim Pharmacy and Bill Warner Chemist in Darlinghurst, Blooms the Chemist in Marrickville, the Enmore 7 Day Pharmacy, Neutral Bay Pharmacy and Priceline pharmacies in Lismore and Surry Hills.
Fees to recover courier and handling costs will be charged for deliveries to locations other than participating pharmacies.
