Priceline teams up with Guild for staff training
Priceline has teamed up with the Pharmacy Guild to provide ongoing training to its pharmacy staff.
The partnership will enable Priceline to access government funding so pharmacists and other staff can gain qualifications or new skills.
Priceline pharmacy teams will have access to more than 70 individual training units and four qualifications through the Guild deal.
Guild president George Tambassis says the partnership will help it extend its reach into community pharmacy.
“We look forward to working together to develop the skills and knowledge required by our customers and our industry,” he says.
Richard Vincent, CEO and managing director of Priceline parent Australian Pharmaceutical Industries, says a skilled and confident workforce is essential in the current challenging environment.
The Guild will work with individual pharmacies to identify training needs.
